Door & window repair, statewide
About California Doors & Windows
We fix what other companies want to replace
A door and window repair company serving homeowners across California. No showroom, no sales appointment, no financing pitch — just technicians who turn up, work out what actually failed, and fix it.

It started with a question nobody was answering honestly
Why does every quote for a sticking patio door come back as a new patio door? We watched California homeowners get told their slider, their windows, their whole rear elevation needed replacing — when the actual fault was a pair of collapsed rollers, a rail with a groove worn into it, or a sealed glass unit that had given up after too many summers of direct sun.
Replacement is a much bigger sale. It is also a much bigger disruption, a much bigger bill, and very often completely unnecessary. So California Doors & Windows was built to do the other job: the smaller one, the one that takes diagnosis and skill rather than a sales script.
That is still the whole business. We repair. We recommend replacing something only when it genuinely cannot be saved, and when we do, we show you exactly why.
If your frame is square and your glass is sound, you almost certainly do not need a new door.

Every repair we offer, in one place
Doors and windows are the entire business. Nothing below is a sideline to something else.
Some of it is what people expect from us: a patio slider that will not move, a window with a cracked pane, a screen the cat went through. The rest tends to surprise people — a deadbolt that stopped lining up, a track worn through by years of dragging, a fogged-up sealed unit that has quietly stopped insulating a west-facing room.
Pick the service that matches your problem and you will find how we approach it and what to expect. If you are not sure which one you need, call and describe what it is doing — working that out is part of the job.
Not sure where your problem fits? Call (213) 799-2897 and we will tell you.
Four things we hold to
Not a mission statement. Just how the job actually gets done.
Repair first
We recommend replacement only when a repair genuinely will not hold — and then we show you the reason, not just the price.
Diagnose honestly
Sometimes nothing is broken. Condensation on the room side of your glass is indoor humidity, not a failed window, and we will say so rather than sell you glass.
Specify for the location
Corrosion-resistant hardware near the coast, sealed bearings where dust is the enemy. The same repair needs different parts in Malibu and in Bakersfield.
Fix the cause
Fitting new rollers to a ruined track, or a new lock to a dropped door, buys you a few months. We deal with what actually caused the failure.

The people who turn up at your door
This is a specialist trade and we staff it that way. Our technicians work the same systems every day — aluminium and vinyl sliders, multi-panel patio doors, mid-century hardware that is supposedly unobtainable, sealed units that have fogged on a west-facing wall.
They arrive in a stocked van carrying the common roller, track, hardware and screen components, so the job usually finishes on the first visit. Drop cloths go down, and the old parts and broken glass leave with them.
They will also talk you through what they found. If you want to understand why your track wore out on one side only, ask — that conversation is part of the job.
One sticking door, or a whole building
Whether it is a single patio slider or a complex of units, the process does not change: inspect, quote, repair.

All of California, not just one metro
California Doors & Windows is a statewide company. We cover Southern California and the Los Angeles basin, San Diego and the border counties, the Inland Empire and the desert, the Central Coast, the Central Valley, the Bay Area and up into the north of the state.
Because we are mobile, there is no showroom to drive to. A technician comes to your home or property, diagnoses the problem in front of you, and in most cases completes the repair the same day.

What you can hold us to
No fine print, no pressure, and no quote that changes once the work has started.
A firm price, first
You get the number before we start, and it does not move once we are working.
Free estimates
No charge to look, and no obligation once we have looked.
Repair over replacement
We do not sell replacement doors or windows, so we have no reason to push one.
Doors and windows only
A narrow trade worked every day, rather than a sideline to something else.
Statewide coverage
Coast, valley, desert and mountains — every county in California.
Work done at your property
Mobile service, so nothing has to be taken away and returned.
